Family Super 8mm style film

Family Home Movie

Last Summer my brother and his family came up to stay with us. We hung around the house for a few days and then drove the campers to a local site for the pleasure of sitting in a field for a few nights :) Here’s a vintage style film of the few days we spent together.

This was shot digitally on the Fujifilm X-T4 and XF-16-55mm @24 frames per second 1/48 shutter; the video was edit together in Davinci Resolve using John Stambaugh’s ‘Fake 8’ emulation. After messing about with lots of emulations on the internet, this is the first one that actually looks and feels right to me along with providing a nice workflow that slot’s into Resolve’s colour management functions.

Enjoy!
